We work with you and your horse to develop an individualized care plan that focuses on optimizing their health, whether for wellness care or a specific condition. This can be to aid rehabilitation, improve performance, or simply to maximize quality of life.

Common indications that your horse may benefit from chiropractic care:

  • Refusal to work

  • Cribbing

  • Difficulty flexing the poll

  • Behaviour changes or change in social interactions

  • Decreased athletic performance

  • Arthritis or degenerative joint disease (DJD)

  • Abnormal posture

  • Biting, swishing tail or pinning ears back when touched or under saddle

  • Throwing head back

  • Disobedience

  • Avoiding jumps or knocking rails

  • Challenged collected or lateral gaits

  • Stiffness

  • Muscle atrophy

  • Decreased range of motion

  • Pulling against a rein

  • Rider constantly feels off center

*All of the above are common symptoms seen with dysfunction in the neuromusculoskeletal system. We do not treat specific conditions. Chiropractic can help improve function, allowing the body to better adapt and decrease symptoms.
